3 Ways to Handle Big Feelings

No matter how much you build your emotional intelligence toolkit you’re always going to face moments of emotional overwhelm. During these moments your emotions can feel like a tidal wave – and before you know it they start seeming too big to handle. Thankfully there are 3 distinct ways to navigate moments like this and handle your big feelings in a healthy way.
In this workshop we will:
- Explore and unpack the 3 different ways to handle big feelings
- Examine the strengths, and drawbacks, of each way
- Discuss the signs that will help you know which technique is the best technique in any given moment.
If you want to feel more in control of big emotions, rather than overwhelmed by them – then this is a perfect workshop.
Note; This is a ‘thinking’ session which means it’s primarily focused on equipping you with tools, techniques and strategies that relate to this topic. Some of these tools may be new to you, whilst others might be familiar and present an opportunity for you to re-visit them and strengthen them. After the session there will be an optional unrecorded Q&A session that you can attend.
