Escaping the High Achiever Trap (Thinking Session)

Whether you call it a ‘type A’ personality, a go-getter, or an ‘energiser-bunny’ few personalities are as rewarded by society as the high-achiever.
Whilst there are huge strengths to being a high-achiever there are also huge drawbacks to this personality type if you don’t know how to manage it in a healthy way.
In this session you’ll learn:
- What, exactly, it means to be a ‘high achiever’
- The 3 components of the high achiever trap, and how to free yourself from them
- How to become a healthy high achiever.
If you’re someone who thinks you may have high-achiever tendencies, or you’re someone who gets caught out by perfectionism, high expectations and a loud inner critic then this is the perfect session for you.
This workshop pairs well with the Leaning Into Acceptance session.
Note; This is a ‘thinking’ session which means it’s primarily focused on equipping you with tools, techniques and strategies that relate to this topic. Some of these tools may be new to you, whilst other might be familiar and present an opportunity for you to re-visit them and strengthen them. After the session there will be an optional unrecorded Q&A session that you can attend.
