Keep Calm & Carry On

Composure is your ability to stay calm and in control when facing stress or adversity. 

It’s not just the big crises that we face, but also the little everyday things. Getting emotional in a traffic jam is never useful, so why bother getting worked up? Maintaining composure means keeping calm so you can save your energy for what’s important.

In this workshop, we will:

  • Practice ways to control your breath and your mind
  • Label the four different groups of emotions
  • Learn how to reappraise difficult situations

 

Note; This is a ‘thinking’ session which means it’s primarily focused on equipping you with tools, techniques and strategies that relate to this topic. Some of these tools may be new to you, whilst others might be familiar and present an opportunity for you to re-visit them and strengthen them. After the session there will be an optional unrecorded Q&A session that you can attend.
