Relationships Month

November 6, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm AEDT

Ready to elevate your connections? This challenge is all about cherishing and deepening your relationships! Start by pinpointing a special someone you’d love to bond with even more this month, then brainstorm ways to nurture that bond.

Our kick-off workshop will be a heart-to-heart on the power of deep connections, the silent shadow of loneliness, and the beauty of every relationship type, be it with lovers, family, pals, colleagues, or your community. And here’s the fun part – we’ll open the stage for you to share and discover ideas on growing your circle of love and trust. Let’s reconnect, stronger and deeper!

Outcome of Challenge:

Take a conscious and intentional action to strengthen a relationship in your life.

Recommended Workshops/Resources in Open Study:

  • Overcoming Conflict in Relationships
  • Effective Communication to Improve Your Relationships
  • Healthy Connection in Relationships
  • 3 Keys to Cultivating Meaningful Connection

Recommended Additional Resources:

  • BOOK: “The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts” by Gary Chapman – This book explores the concept of love languages, which are the different ways individuals express and receive love. Understanding your partner’s love language and your own can greatly improve communication and connection in relationships.
  • BOOK: “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life” by Marshall B. Rosenberg – This book provides a framework for effective communication, emphasizing empathy, honesty, and compassionate dialogue. It offers practical tools for resolving conflicts and deepening connections with others.
  • TED TALK: “How to Love and Be Loved” by Billy Ward – Billy Ward’s TED Talk focuses on the importance of vulnerability and authenticity in relationships. He shares personal stories and insights into the power of embracing your true self and fostering meaningful connections with others.

NOTE: These sessions are NOT recorded. If you miss attending the live challenge launch session you can watch a briefing video in the BU Crew Facebook Group so you’re still able to participate in this month’s challenge.

NOTE: These sessions don’t have structured workbooks. Instead, it’s recommended that you bring a journal or notepad to capture your thoughts and ideas during the session. You’ll also get a lot of insight by actively participating in the group conversations during the challenge launch session.
