Selfcare Month

The purpose of this challenge is to broaden your perspective of self-care from just physical health to also including mental/up-regulating and emotional/down-regulating self-care.

The launch session of this challenge will explore the links between health and happiness, unpack different ways for us to support our health holistically, and encourage members to identify and share their intentions and practices for best supporting their health.

It provides practical exercises and self-care routines to incorporate into daily life.
  • TED TALK: “The Art of Stillness” by Pico Iyer – Pico Iyer explores the concept of finding stillness and inner peace in our fast-paced world. He discusses the benefits of taking time for quiet contemplation and reflection as a form of self-care.

NOTE: These sessions are NOT recorded. If you miss attending the live challenge launch session you can watch a briefing video in the BU Crew Facebook Group so you’re still able to participate in this month’s challenge.

NOTE: These sessions don’t have structured workbooks. Instead, it’s recommended that you bring a journal or notepad to capture your thoughts and ideas during the session. You’ll also get a lot of insight by actively participating in the group conversations during the challenge launch session.
